Chased catfish last night for a few hours. We went to jville steamplant about dark and fished until about 11. The rain was suppose to move out around 7 but we had rain on and off the whole night. That north wind sure does make that water swell! It was a little uneasy going in, especially with all the trash/trees floating with the rising waters. It was downright scary coming out after dark. We didn't get much faster than an idle. But we made it and did catch a few fish but they were very slow. My gf's son caught his very first catfish. I think he caught the most actually.
