Obviously a black panther.

I was tempted to use a title along those lines, but I was afraid of the 100 replies that I would get. Fifty of them would have said, "I knew it!", and fifty would have called me names for being so stupid as to think it's a cougar. So I decided to let everyone else make the comments.

Pretty cat, I have always wanted to see one while in the woods and shoot one for the pelt.

I have a blind about 20 yards from that spot. I need to check the dates for bobcat hunting. If that guy comes around during season I would sure like to get him for either a pelt or mount. I've only seen one while hunting and that was while squirrel hunting before bobcat season.

Oh I love bobcats!!!! A real beauty! So ready for fur season! Keep a rabbit in distress handy. Bobcats don't have as big a range as coyotes. Bet you could call him quiet easy if he isn't pushed.
