I did for the first time Sunday. We heard one gobbling on the roost at daybreak but as we made a move, I realized that his hens were roosted with him as well. He gobbled at everything for a good hour but I told my buddy we need to move in another direction and try to strike one up. We moved 50 yds and a new gobbler fired up that we hadn't heard all morning. I called him and a jake into my buddys lap but they came out of the deep ditch at the wrong spot and we was busted, game over. I actually secured another 40 acres next door to the 80 I got

I have NEVER seen so much turkey sign in my life. I will be back in there this weekend for sure! Wanna go with me?

Yea it may be sunday before I get to go turkey hunting. I'd be glad to take you. I did get out on the lake a couple weekends ago. We was mostly just trying out dads boat. It was AWFULLY windy and I think we caught 3 small bass in about 1 hour fishing time.

I went two weekends ago but my buddy had motor & drain plug issues :rotf: so we didn't get to fish.
