I guess OSU's quality win over Cincy should put them equal or above LSU? Lol

Actually, I think that LSU is a clear #1, with tOSU a distant second. The other two in the top four confuse me, but I guess that it is more of the product of no one else being worthy outside of the top 6-7. And I'm a UGA fan. I really think that Minnesota should be ranked higher than Oregon and Utah, and Alabama is still really good.

I think that there is still quite a bit of football left to be played, and I hope that my DAWGS show up the rest of the way through. No excuse for the egg that they laid against USCe, and they've played poorly on offense most of the year. If they can miraculously straighten out all of their offensive woes, continue to play championship caliber defense, and win out the regular season (all very big "ifs") then maybe they can give LSU a run for their money on a neutral site and pull off the upset.

I think that there is a lot of parity (or is it "parody," lol) in college football this year outside of the top 6-7 teams, then there's a big drop off.. SEC has 4-5 decent or better teams, and the same goes for the B1G. The rest of the conferences only have one or two each. Kinda a crazy year for college football

Honestly you guys have seen the real National Championship game between the two top teams and didnt even realize it.

Even the Haters I talk to agree they want to see a LSU V ALABAMA rematch with a Healthy TUA to see what the outcome would be to see who is #1.

As its been said.. Lots of football left to be played. LOL

I'm not sure what haters you talk to but I haven't heard that from anyone. When bama beats 4 top 10 teams then maybe they can get back into the discussion. till then, that ship has sailed.

I don't think bama wants anymore LSU, on neutral sight it would be bad
ALABAMA has a history, the facilities, the tradition, the resources to play with anyone, anytime. And that's what we're going to do again.

Oh snap...see how stupid that sounds :):):)

Roll Tide

I think LSU vs OSU will be the game. I see LSU winning in a high score game

LSU deserves to be #1. I agree with the Committee's 1-4 after week 11. 5-8, I guess so. It will all play itself out.

As far as an LSU / Bama "rematch," I think Ed Orgeron thinks RTWFY!
LOL!

With a healthy Tua... We want LSU

I'm sure y'all wanted them when they went up 20 points on y'all too! :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Didn't take long for the Tua health excuses... :D

We all knew it was coming! I told a co-worker they had to have something to blame it on. That ankle was a major part in the fumble that started that tail kicking! :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

There's a few different ways of looking at that loss. I don't see it from the whole "things would have been different IF Tua was 100% healthy..." angle. If a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its butt when it hopped too. Sure, there were mistakes but that 2nd half, they came on and was coming strong. Don't quote me on it, but I think the Bama offense scored on their last 4 possessions of the ball. They were looking pretty healthy at that point. It was the defense that figuratively dropped the ball by not making tackles (25 missed tackles that game) and blown coverage and not getting stops at critical times. That made the biggest difference IMO. Tua threw for 418 yards and 4 TD passes in that game. And those aren't shabby numbers. I do think it ended any chance he had at a Heisman trophy...sadly. With all the records he broke, and all the big numbers he put up...it looks like his crowning moment at Bama was 2 and 26.

They lost cause the real #1 played them and exposed them. Plain and simple.
