PBD you gonna be ok? Auburn ahead of Bama :rotf:

Can't win them all every year. Bama really needs to find a kicker. ....and any team that loses a Heisman caliber QB 3/4 the way through the year is going to struggle.

Now I'd love to see Coach O/LSU win it all, including a Heisman for Burrow. That is a heck of a story, pretty much no one gave Orgeron a chance when he got the job.

Like to see them Gators as the #3 team in the SEC. Makes sense considering that their only two loses are in the top 4 and playing in the SEC Championship... :tu:

12th in the current rankings, no chance to get into the playoffs, and still generating more buzz and discussion than all of the top 4 combined? :pop:

The Vol fans at work are talking more about that than they are about winning every game they've played since the loss to Bama.

^^^ :bore: ^^^ Beginning of season y'alls practice squad could beat anyone in the country and 2nd string could have went straight to NFL. Now everyone was hurt and young! :rotf: :rotf:

Surely you're smart enough to realize that's because of all of the bandwagon bammers over the years running their mouths. It's payback time. You just better hope Nick can get the team up for their bowl game, because if they lose it will be deafening.

I would think anyone with any sense at all would know better than to think any team, organization, nation, or whatever else, can stay at the top forever. Everything has a season, and every season eventually ends. That's how I see it anyway. It's hard to get to the top and harder to stay there long. People have long had a tendency to want to see giants fall.

I also don't get the whole thing about team fan base seniority vs being called a bandwagon fan. 10 years ago you couldn't pay me to watch a football game. I thought it was one of the stupidest sports ever and a total waste of time. Archery was my sport, and I couldn't have cared less about other sports except fishing. So, with that said you would automatically assume that because I like Bama now, that I chose them because of their current record of winning. Well you'd be dead wrong. The truth about it is, people at work always gave me a hard time because I didn't watch football. Two of my coworkers in particular are what set me on this path. One was the most annoying know it all I have ever met and I honestly hated being around him. Everybody rejoiced when he found another job and quit. He is an Auburn super fan. He kept on and on about football stuff until I finally asked him what the team was that he hated most. Of course he said Bama and he couldn't stand them. The other was a diehard Tennessee fan, but he is also the laziest whiner I have ever worked with. That same night, I asked him the same thing...what team do you hate most. Guess who it was. On Friday's at work during football season, we can wear sports team hats/shirts. As soon as they told me that both of them hated Bama, I was online finding a Bama hat and shirt. I wore it to work that next Friday just to annoy those guys. That's what started it all for me. I didn't know why they didn't like Bama. I didn't know anything about their win/loss history or stats. All I knew was...two of the people I didn't like very much hated Bama and it gave me great joy to get under their skin. Ahhh the power of a crimson and white with a script letter A. It was around that same time that the Tennessee guy was trash talking about how they were gonna beat Bama that weekend, etc. I watched my first game while on vacation that 3rd weekend of October just to see if I was going to have to hear all the crap when I got back to work. Nope. But that's when I started watching football and I've not missed a game since. Even started going to them. I enjoy watching the games now and keep up with everything. Not just Bama. I've stuck with Bama because that's who I technically started with...and the wife says I look hot wearing crimson and white so that's always a bonus :) It still amazes me how a little script A can cause such reactions from other people. Oh...one more thing. I've always liked wearing fedora hats...and guess what team is synonymous with a certain houndstooth fedora wearing coach from the past ;)

So you been a bama fan for 10 years? I'd say your one of the original fans then. :rotf: most probably waited until after 2nd year to hop on. :rotf: :rotf:

They don't really know what a bangwagon fan is. They just say it to say it. Bandwagon is when your team sucks and then jumps over to a LSU, Bama, OSU etc... while they are good. So I would ignore 99% of what he says or they say about bandwagon fans.

:pop: We been trying to tell bammers this for years :pop:

Can you be sure that PDB gets your message? Glad to know its finally sinking in :poke: :tu:

I know what you mean about working with annoying fans of other teams.

My boss is a huge Dallas cowboys fan, I love nothing more then walking into work Monday after a Dallas loss on sunday. Before then didnt really have anything against them. I've heard they are super bowl bound and the best team period for the last 7 years working for him still waiting.....

If anyone watches skip bayless on TV talk about the cowboys and the excuses when the lose is about the funniest stuff I've ever heard. My boss is the same way. Skip also says at the beginning of every season cowboys are the best team in the NFL going to superbowl.

If only the wind was blowing south instead of west they would have won by 2Tds, if Dak would have ate a better breakfast they would have ran away with it.

No joke it's that bad sometimes.

Bingo... This is what make sports forums fun is you better get your "smack talking" in while your team is on top because it can all change in a hurry.

Nothing wrong with trolling a team or talking smack about a rival team / coaches / players. That comes with being in the spotlight. That's why they make sport forums. It's when some fans can't take it and think because you are talking about their, team / coaches / players, that you are actually making personal attacks on them. Those are the fans that normally get ugly and personal and don't need to be on sport forums. Sports Forum aren't for the fans that live and die with with the outcome of their team's performance.

Just my 2 cents and troll / roll on... :rotf:

If any of you bandwagon bammers want to jump on the Gator's train... We will take you.. :rotf: I couldn't resist.. :D

Yep, my definition of a bandwagon fan would be somebody that hops from the team currently doing the best. In that regard, I would have swapped teams several times now and should be currently wearing Clemson orange. I've come to the conclusion that some people must think that to be a true fan, you must be born into it...like some kind of bloodline birthright legacy inheritance type thing. Like, I was born in Tennessee so I should only be a Tennessee fan. Or if my family was Tennessee fans then I should be too. To me that's like saying if my dad was an alcoholic that I should have to follow that same road and be one too.

As for me personally, it's all for fun and entertainment. I know some people get fighting mad over this stuff...heck, every year fans get into brawls, and even going so far as to pull guns and shoot it out. I don't take it serious like that. It started for me as a way to get under a couple people's skin that I didn't too much care for...and in turn has been quite fun with the ribbing and back and forth from other coworkers and friends that I DO like. For the most part, sports forums and groups are full of people that are that same way...good natured fun. But make no mistake...there are some that the things they say are not in fun, and they'd burn your house down for being a fan of a team they dislike....key your vehicle if it has stickers of a team they dislike, etc.

EXACTLY right!!!

I have never fought, key anyones vehicle or get in a cussing war of any team. Jabs and jokes is far enough that I take it. Might get under some peoples skin ( :D ;) ) but its just for fun.

Go Gata :tu:

Yep.... Born and raised in Fl. I have lived in TN for 31 years in the heart of Vol Country (Knoxville). Most my good friends and co-workers are Vol fans. Most of us have fun with it and I normally win a few cold ones along the way. If you get sick or upset when your team loses, might need to find something else to entertain you or realize it's a game that kids play. Somebody will win and somebody will lose. This isn't jr. pro kid's basketball where, "everybodies a winner".... :rotf:

If I have ever offended you by putting down your team or coaches. I want to apologize because it's likely to happen again.... :rotf:

My list of teams in order:

1. F$u
2. UGA
3. L$U
4. Vols
5.... Who ever is playing UF.... :tu:

Wonder what happened to Badnole? He hasn't been around posting much since Winston left FSU

Lol. If LSU gets past UGA (they should) then they cannot be denied number 1

If Ohio State wins Saturday, that will be their third straight win against a top 10/top 15 opponent. If Ohio State wins, they should hold onto #1. LSU is ripe for the picking, but I think UGA is just too beat up on offense to do it. LSU is going to get destroyed by Clemson in the semi-final. You heard it here first.
yeah I agree that Clemson is going to beat number two OSU
