I haven't told too many folks on the site, but I recently ruptured my left distal bicep tendon. I had it surgically repaired but....even though the doc assures me I will be rady for bow season, I am a little hesitant to beleive him. I currently shoot a Mathews Legacy at 29" and pull 67 lbs. I shoot a PSE 300 series Carbon Express arrow with 100 grain broadheads...I am thinking I want to reduce poundage...what overall repucussions am I looking at by lowering draw weight???

Admittedly, I love to bowhunt but know little about archery tackle...just shoot what the shop set up for me. Now the shop is out of business and I am hosed. Need a little help...

Do not hesitate to lower the poundage. Having an arrow that is a little stiff is ok, Matter of fact you may even like the way it shoots. Take it slow and be careful.

Btw, you were right about the turkeys visiting my place this year. To bad I suck at turkey hunting. Ha!
