I have missed the last two bow seasons due to lack of hunting land. This year, I am in on a good lease and plan on cranking the bow up again. Question is, should I change strings? String was new 3 years ago, but again, hasn't been fired in a couple of years. I waxed the strings when I put it up, but not sure if that's good enough. What's the shelf life of strings?
Thanks.

If it doesnt' have any bad spots in the string, I would think it should be ok. Maybe you could wax it, then pull it back several times just to heat it up. Should be ok.

If it is in good condition , check your specs to make sure it didn't creep . Axle to axle , brace height and cam rotation should be at factory specs.
