This is best described as Good , Bad and Ugly. The good its a Mauser action and its cheap. The bad I don't know what kind of mauser ( I think its a Spanish) and don't know caliber (it looks like a short action based on the magazine size). The ugly someone decided to add a turndown bolt and used a actual bolt but you must admit thats kind of funny. Metal is in good condition no rust or pitting. A little work could make this a decent rifle or donor action. 100.00

Shoot…I like the bolt for the bolt handle! Gives it character!!! If you knew the caliber, I'd be all over it…regardless of what caliber it was!

Definitely a small ring. Looks like a Spanish carbine... likely 7mm.
The ones that were converted to 308.... wasn't the modern 308 win. Modern will chamber and fire, but pressure is considered too high for small ring Mausers. I've read that 7.62x51 should be ok...but watch for bolt setback anyway.

Can you measure barrel ID?

That bolt handle looks like something my Grandfather would have done for a joke!
Also sounds like something my grandson would do! I'll watch this for a minute..
