Peyton Manning as OC ? Might as well bring back Phat Phil as PC and have a party . LMAO
I realize the article was written at a 10th grade level and you didn't understand any of it, but maybe someone will explain it to you.

I'll do it. Purdue is bringing Brees in as a TEMPORARY coach and the article says UT should do the same thing with Manning to help recruit and be around the program. PDB made the jump of making him OC. That was a big jump!

"Tennessee currently has an open spot on its coaching staff due to OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR Alex Golesh leaving to take the head coaching job at USF.

Vols head coach Josh Heupel doesn't seem to be in a hurry to make a hire, likely because he has a lot on his plate at the moment (recruiting, transfer portal, Orange Bowl prep). And he's probably going to be the one calling plays next season anyway.

This would be a perfect opportunity to find a popular former Vol who wants to help the program.

Former Tennessee quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning is obviously the first name that comes to mind."

I know I have to break out the crayons and stick figures for you guys from time to time so I put Offensive coordinator in LARGE CAPS and BOLD for yall. Geeze.

I wonder who dreamed this article up. It had to be one of yall right????

Thanks for trying. He's so busy banging on the keyboard not listening he thinks the article said "make Manning the permanent OC with a 10 year deal and full control over the offense." What's the old cowboy saying? You can lead a jackass to water but you can't make him drink?

Heuple probably isn't in a "hurry" maybe Bcse teams are still playing and likely won't announce anything till after the season is over.

You truly have a love fest for Jimbo and anything TN. If you say otherwise then you know for yourself you are a weirdo. 🤡

You honestly think that's what the article was trying to say? It is comparing TN to Purdue and bringing Brees in as an interm assistant coach". Interm means not full time. Help get ready for the bowl game and recruit. There is no way you are this clueless? You're joking, right?

I really try not to hammer you or anyone else in here but for the love of all that's good and holy read the whole article and comprehend it before typing. Yes they have an open OC position but the article doesn't say to bring in Manning for that. Since you like bold words I put them in bold for you straight from the article. 🤦‍♂️

Now, I know Manning is a busy guy. But all the Vols really need him to do is stand around and clap at some practices and make recruiting calls. They just need him to be around the program and visible. It would generate a lot of attention and it could help Tennessee in recruiting.

If Manning is willing — and he always wants to help the Vols it seems — then it should be a no-brainer. This is an easy way to make an impact in recruitment and draw some positive attention to the program during the Christmas season.

Tennessee would be wise to consider taking a page out of Purdue's book and making a similar (temporary) move before replacing Golesh.

Soooo you're saying UT should hire Eli Manning to be its next women's basketball coach?
