Not seeing any chasing. Saw two spikes, one was broke off. Found a fresh rub line, this rain will bed them today.... sitting here waiting for a break in hopes of a doe

We found scrapes a month ago. Probably more scrapes than rubs. All but maybe 2 rubs were pretty little. The 2 big rubs that were found were on fairly big trees for rubs. Like 6-8 inch trees thru the center. The buck I killed was by himself. Slowly moving thru most likely eating. He had a little smell to him, but he didn't smell like a rutting buck. Neck was a bit swelled.
