Funny with all the free bows and marketing Mathews still cheaper than their competitors top end bows.

I don't think so...PSE, Hoyt, and Mathews are right in line with one another per what the companies suggest they sell for. Now once its in the hand of the shops that is a different story. There isnt that much mark up in the bow. The add on's sights, rest, etc is where the bulk of the shops make their money

Don't forget that Mathews shooters are groupys that hangout at the bow shop talking about their bows. lol, J/T
Explain this, I get a picture in my mind of Jeff Gordon(NASCAR)everytime I hear or see something about Mathews bows.
lmbo....

Mathews makes a fine bow , but Mathews bows are not any better than the competition , it's just that they have very good marketing , that not only attracts new buyers , but the current owners who need to get the latest model .
Ask any loyal Mathews owner what their all-time favorite model is , and it's usually a past model .

I've shot em all.I've sold em all.I've worked on em all and many more that are no longer with us.Yes most all bow companies make great bows. Is Mathews the best?Is PSE the best?Is Hoyt the best?Is BowTech the best? All a matter of opion.

The retail prices on upper end models are all real close.$800 to $1,000.The price you pay is usually a little less or alot less.

What i am saying is Mathews can give away so many bows and market their bows quite well and still have prices lower than most other companies upper end bows.

Yes i know some companies have bows that are $1500 to $2,000.But these are specialty bows that they know they will sell a few and make a killing on them.

Shoot what you like and all have a Merry Christmas.

Although I have owned many past models , I do not like the new gridlock riser or the draw cycle of the Z7 . They have always had sweet shooting bows with great looking risers , but I'd don't like the looks of the gridlock design .
I don't intend to rile up the fanboys . Thats just my opinion after shooting my friends bow .

I really like the blacked out "tacticool" look, but I'm not a fan of the carbon fiber imitation look on the limbs. I've never liked that on guns either... Either it's carbon fiber, or it's not.
