Put the camera out for a buddy to try and catch a big buck before he drops his horns. Thought this was a cool pic.

I am pleased with this one. This camera was out in the deluge we had near Knoxville a few days ago and there were no signs of moisture inside it anywhere and all pictures after it were good. Moisture, the remote cable and DOA cameras are my only concerns with them. Once the quality control gets straightened out on failure rates this camera will be a great unit. Here is a pic of the setup. Versa Mount with a Python Lock. Setup on a major trail with Swamp Donkey as an attractant.

Looks good John. I plan on getting one from you this spring.

BucxkNrut,

Do you know anyone that has tested the NX50?

Not yet other than the Chasingame review that is on hold. I think there is supposed to be a HD version coming soon on it with HD quality video.

Pic quality has been very good with my NT50"B"s when they were working. In fact, the pic quality is comparable with the Sony P41 in a homebrew, which is beyond the pic quality of any Reconyx currently on the market.

Maybe there have been some quality control issues regarding the "B" version that weren't a problem with the standard NT50 version?

Both my NT50"B" versions were purchased in October 2010 (and in different states from different suppliers), plenty of time for Uway to have worked out the quality control issues. Major problems with both units not working and/or not working properly.

Should any of you decide to try a Uway, I'd highly recommend your getting it from thehuntinshack.com
Smarter might be to save your money a little longer and just get a Reconyx from the "Huntin Shack" folks.
