Been catching up on all the stories. You guys have been knocking them down. Congratulations to everyone that's been successful. I've hunted 3 days in TN. I've had some exciting hunts but no cigar. The hottest bird I've been on was marching to the gun when 2 coyotes ran in and spooked him. These birds either don't recognize the property lines or don't understand they have to stay on my side for us to play. Every bird that's gobbled has been right on the line. My son and I are both off Monday and Tuesday and will be giving them heck. Maybe I'll have a pic to post soon! Good luck and be safe out there.

Same here. I've had them gobbling their heads off right on the line. Good luck man. Hope both of you connect

Same to you Trey. Property lines suck when the birds don't respect them!

Hahahaha I was going in the other day fixing to park my truck in my spot and he crossed
The road from my property
To the private.

Both of my setups so far today have been ruined by yoties. Had 4 hens and a tom coming right to me off the roost when a yotie flushed them back into the trees. They were at 80 yds and slowly closing.

Got on one of the hottest gobblers I've ever been on at 9am just over the property line. Had him coming to the fence crossing when 2 yoties flush him and a subordinate bird into the trees. He kept gobbling back to me even right after that. I expected him to pitch down to me, but some real hens showed up and he dropped to them. I got overly agreesive with the calling at the end since he was so fired up, but that pissed off the hens and they led him away. I bet that bird gobbled at least 150 times over the course of the 2 hours I worked him

Only 3.5 miles on the boots this am, but about to head back out now that I've finished lunch

Sounds similar to my story. I had just got back from lunch and was fishing for a few minutes when he started gobbling. Literally every breath. I don't know how he didn't run out of oxygen. I got set up, made a call and he cut me off. He got to about 60 yards and the 2 coyotes ran in right between us. Sad part is I didn't kill one because I wasn't sure what he would do.

Had one dead to rights for my buddy this morning. A tom and a jake closed from 200 yds out in about 7-8 minutes. They had to cross a creek right in front of us (deep). When they popped up on our side they come up 10 yds further down than he was aimed. Busted, game over
