Nothing fancy here, just a dang good cheese steak sammich I make on the Blackstone pretty regularly.

Shave up a ribeye or venison, slice a sweet onion and bell pepper, toss in some baby bellas if you like. Just keep in mind, a little goes a long ways. Throw them on medium heat with a couple pats of butter on the veggies and the meat, season them all with Hueys Burger Seasoning. Once they are getting close to being done, I back the fire down cover and let them simmer for a moment. Meanwhile toss on a couple slices of cream cheese and mix it in thoroughly. Mix in a handful of shredded queso cheese, flip it and add more cheese. Put it to bed on a fresh, warm Hoagie roll with a little bit of mayo. Goes good with home made tater skins with cheddar and real bacon.

I heard Walmart had the Black stone on sale, not sure how much but it might be worth checking into if your looking for a griddle.

My local WalMart has the 36 inch for $249

Question for you on your potato skins.

Shelby county stores seem to sell only potatoes that are damaged during harvest or have 5 worms each or both.

You favor a particular source? Variety?

I've noticed that with some potatoes lately. I usually buy a bag of baby reds at Kroger and inspect them in the bag. I primarily use these for everything unless I'm doing baked or bbq potatoes them.

$249 isn't bad.

I highly, highly recommend doing the 36" over the others. I generally use every bit of that space up between cooking and keeping food that I've already cooked warm.

I threw several slices of Tenderloin and nearly a dozen scrambled eggs on my Blackstone yesterday evening for Dinner. Five minutes and Dinner was ready. Love my Blackstone

Wife picked a 36 inch Blackstone up as my "Easter" gift... gonna season it this weekend. Gotta order me some spactulas now and squirt bottles. :)
