Cherokee lake water level

Anybody know why the water is still so low at cherokee.I would have thought it would be up by now.Also anybody got any areas that you have a decent chance of catching crappie or catfish.No honeyholes unless you want to lol. Just wanting and idea that might get me close to any of these areas.Thanks

It's right where it was this time last year, and actually a little higher than might be expected.

I've saw some pretty good crappie reports from Cherokee.

Tva only gets the lakes up to summer pool by memorial day i think will be there in a few weeks so leave me a few lol
