Chickasaw NWR quota hunts

Can you believe that the deadline for chickasaw NWR has got past us.Usually you always have applied the month of Feb.,but not this year.They decided to make it the month of Jan. instead.They told me it also included Grassy,Long point,and Lower Hatchie as well.I wish if they had decided to do this,they would have at least given a decent amount of notice.Kinda disapointed,to say the least.What do you guys think?

I forgot to apply aswell, this would have been my first year to apply though so I prolly wouldn't have been drawn anyway.

There was an announcement in the local Dyersburg paper in December and November.

Spoke with the main Refuge office in Union City today. The drawings have been held and they're stuffing the envelopes. The notifications will be mailed tomorrow.

That is good news.

Reelfoot NWR has a Union City address but is closer to Walnut Log.

The central office for several refuges (Reelfoot, Chickasaw, and Lower Hatchie) is in Dyersburg.
