choke and shell - 12g bps 26" ???

looking for ideas for choke and shell combos to try in my bps invector plus 12g 26"

any help would be appreciated, currentley using tru glo gobblestopper with winchester ext 3 1/2 4's and 5's but would like some better results.
 
most of it will come down to what you want to spend. What Jonnylong posted has good results for him but a Rhino choke is not cheap by anymeans.

are you looking to shoot Hevi Shot or stick with lead? if you are sticking with Lead then the shells you shoot are a good choice but i would try 6 shot instead of 5, also for lead a Kicks choke is hard to bead and a bit cheaper then a Rhino.

lets us know what you end up with and how it shoots.
 
If you are wanting to go Hevi shot, they you should start with the Magblends just because they are easier to find and usually cheaper. Then go to 7's or 6's after that but you should get some good results with the Magblends.

I dont have a BPS so I dont really know choke wise but ones that i have heard very good things from out of a bunch of different guns and the magblend ammo is the Hevi Shot choke (around $50) and the Sumtoy Choke (around $60).

Surely there are others on here like Jonny that have the gun with recommendations. He is using the Rhino choke with great results so that is another option, I personally just have a hard time spending $100 on a choke but they are a very good well made choke tube.
 
so i am def going to try the mag blends but will have to wait till i by a choke. looks between kicks, comp n choke, rhino(if i can afford it) or indian creek. thanks for the other forums REN. I can only wish to have patterns like yours Jonny.
 
just know that kicks and comp n choke (same company) do not recommend shooting hevi though it. I know the whole back story and plenty do it with no issues BUT if something were to happen you have not course of action you can take.
 
so while out running errands today i went by the local sporting goods and picked up a jelly head for $45. It was all i could find without ordering. hope to try to shoot some this weekend. will update with results. I know for sure i will be shooting the mag blend. not sure what else.
