Choke/Shell Combos

You like 6s over 5s Satt, wondering if there will really be any difference?

More cause of size I know but can you really tell a difference?

Yes, there was a slight difference. It's all about confidence Spit.

Here, read this thread that I started a few weeks ago. It shows the different characteristics of three identical guns.

My gun has shot factory loads (winchester) very well to this point with a Jelly head choke (stoeger M2000)

I just picked up some hevi-shot 13 #6 today just to try. It has a rebate that makes it $5 after the rebate. Only issue is the rebate only goes for 1 5/8 load (for 3inch shells)

will test it in a week or so.

Mad Max on a 835 Mossberg Ulti mag. 3.5" 6 shot outperforms everything I have tried in it. I am comfortable out to 50. I did shot one @ 60 once because I misjudged the distance.

i have had really good luck with the winchester supreme 6 shots out of a mossberg 500 with a hastings .660 choke

Mossberg 835
comp n choke 680
3 1/2" Federal mag shock 12 gauge #5 with flite control wad

Bad medicine for toykeys.

I just put this in another thread but I shot 314 in a 10" circle at 40 yards with hevi-13 #7's with a super nova and factory stoeger choke. REN if you have a factory turkey choke for that Stoeger put it in and try it.

those hevi 13 #7s are mean. I shot a 310 and a 328 in a 10 inch at 40 yesterday.
