Ive had a battle going on with this doe for about a month now and she finally slipped up this morning. She busted me in my stand once this year and from then on everytime she comes by she will stare straight up at me. I told myself when the next doe season came around I was going to get this deer! I finally got to draw back on her about 2 weeks ago but I couldn't get her to stop! I let out four grunts and she never even looked my way! Well two weekends ago I moved my stand about 15 yards down the trail. This morning was my first time in it since I moved it. Sure enough at 9:00 this morning she came off the ridge straight to me! She stopped about 25 yards away and looked up! I could tell she was looking past me and at the tree that I first had the stand in! She didn't know I was there! She loooked for 15-30 seconds and continued down the trail! When she went past me broadside at 20 yards I drew my bow and let out a light grunt. She stopped,looked at me, and I sent the arrow on its way! Double lung hit! She ran 40 yards and I watched her crash!
I stayed in the stand after the shot to see if a buck would come by. Well a buck did come by me but he just wasn't hardly big enough to shoot!
