Just my opinion but to me they simply are not that good to begin with. This goes back to my weak schedule theory. The way they are doing this is such a shame. Clemson will now possibly get a BYE as a 3 loss team because they play in a weak conference. I am guessing SMU will stay in because they will not punish them for playing in a championship game( unless they get blown out), even though it's obvious they are not very good and have not beaten anyone to speak of. I hope that I eat my words and SMU comes back to win!!!!

SMU may do enough to avoid the blowout with a pair of TD drives in the 2nd half. Worst case scenario for Bama is SMU continues to hang within 10pts.
SMU is an extra point and 16 seconds away from taking it to OT.
