Didn't hunt yesterday morning but did today. We went with a buddy and his son down the road in his place. Set up on the edge of a field and heard 3 maybe 4 different birds. One came in all alone and I thought we had him but he never came closer than 45 yards and I wouldn't let my son shoot his gun that far. He was out there in the sun with a rope hanging off and yiu could see his breath when he gobbled. Great time but just couldn't seal the deal. Same thing happened to him last year when a bird bung up just out of range. :bash: Oh well it was fun to be back in the turkey woods.
