Staff is practically full again already. Natural process. Pruitt hasn't exactly let us down when it comes to new hires. :D

Yep, just don't forget CBJ. :tu:

The most puzzling one is Tracy Rocker leaving for SC and doing the same job as the DL coach. Rumph going to the NFL and Hughes going to work with his former coach makes sense.

Although a good coach, he was not a good recruiter.

Maybe they "bolted" because their contracts hadn't been renewed?

Also read his contract was up and not retained so his bolting wasn't his choice. Regardless coaching assistant turnover is never ending.

Rocker wasn't a good recruiter and his contract was allowed to expire . New guys were hired within hours of these guys leaving and are definant upgrades. Sherrer and Rumph were demoted last year and have been looking elsewhere since then. The hopeful new LBs coach is named Shelton Felton... I'd hire him for his name only. The Vols still got plenty to worry about but these changes were expected and welcomed.

How could we forget David Johnson that just left UT and roasted UT at an FSU event. "Johnson, at what appears to be a recruiting event, alluded to "not trusting" what was going on at Tennessee."

He left the same job at UT to take the same job at FSU....

Yeah, that was after an extensive interview where he praised Pruitt. Johnson tried to walk back his FSU comments today by saying he was trying to get across how much he liked and trusted Norvell and not that he didn't trust Pruitt. But, I suspect he burned some bridges up here.

He just clarified that he meant it was hard to recruit to Tennessee, which is bogas as we are in top 10, he is just bad recruiter

Yup, it was a knock on recruiting at Tennessee.

After they just signed a top 10 class lol.

A team that is pretty loaded at HB with tim jorden, Ty Chandler, and Erick Gray (4* #3 APB just signed in the class of 2019) all returning in 2020 all decent backs...... Then signed what 2 or 3 more backs in the 2020 class while still in the running for Zack evans.....

Jimmy Brumbaugh, is real interesting on the Dline everyone seems to think it was a good hire...... Guy has some good SEC ties born in Gainesville, coached for LSU including the 2007 NC team....... Spent 3 years at Kentucky coaching Dline he coached multiple All-SEC defensive linemen including NFL first-round draft picks.... he also spent 4 years playing for Auburn. spent time at East Mississippi college that last chance U school coaching Dline, and Chattanooga as well. Said to be a good coach & recruiter.

Probably just simply didn't see eye to eye with Pruitt. So we didn't need him there if he can't be on the same page.
