Cold weather opening weekend??

I actually hope like he!! it does cool off by March 31 to at least normal temps (43/65), even cooler would be fine by me. My favorite mornings/days to hunt are clear, light wind and 40-45 for low and 60-65 for a high. It don't take me long to get soaking wet with a bunch of camo garb on chasing them crazy long legged suckers over umpteen hills trying to get in front of them and in position. Bring on the cooler temps.

Cooler is better for this ol boy.Maybe not the turkey though but I can't stand sweating my butt off by 8am when chasing the buggers.

I have killed them when the temps were in the high 80's and man killed his first when it was 17 degrees so it don't matter to me.

I personally prefer not to have to wear a coat in the mornings but no matter what I am ready to go. :D

It is just uncomfortably hot right now for turkey hunting. I would burn up on a day like today trying to heaed 1000 feet up a mountain. Lets hope it cools off.

I find it slightly funny hearing people talk about 80 degrees being hot while hunting turkeys. I can remember a ton of hunts back home hunting them when it was in the mid to upper 90's with the humidity of a miss river swamp bottom as well.

This stuff is great for folks like me. I can't stand hunting in a coat/jacket, and will take hot any day over cold or even cool.
