I have tried to google collared deer studies. Does anyone know of any studys on:

How much time will a "mature" buck stay on his feet during a 24 hour period during NON RUT times?

I would be willing to bet it would be as little as 5-10% of the 24 hour period. Unless its rut time


What do yall think?

I say a mature buck over 3.5 years of life would be laying down around the 70% to 75% of his daily cycle.

You might try some searches thought the UTK library website. You can then get the articles through a local library with the citation.
