Anybody been keeping up with it? I've been watching the sec tournament and there has been some crazy games! Vanderbilt pulled out a miracle yesterday against mizzu. GO DORES!!

Love college baseball and watching all I can. Ran home at lunch yesterday and caught a couple innings. They're down 2-0 to A&M right now in the bottom of the first. Was hoping to go to m'boro and watch the AAA high school championship but noticed today that its tomorrow and I have a game with my sons team.
Love it too. Couldn't watch any tonight. Hope the Dores pulled it out.
An example why I resisted "foreign entanglements" and giving credit where credit is due is the SEC in baseball and softball. SEC has 8 of the women's 16 softball teams in the regionals this year. That's impressive. Very impressive.

Ehh, DORES got whooped. Their ace pitcher got rocked for the first time this year. Didn't see that one coming. That's why I love college baseball. Anybody can win at any time.
In between innings of LSU & Arkansas I was watching the Lady Vols and Florida State in the super regional. The Lady Vols won game 1 on a 3-2 walkoff single in the bottom of the 7th. Need 1 more win today.OHVATN":37vn1gt0 said:

First time I've ever seen the mercy rule in college baseball. VU 16 Bama 1. Seven innings. Vandy has A@m again today, and fla and lsu. Lsu is playing good right now. LSu will be tough to beat.

You are correct on that. VAndy was a good team but not expected to win it all in any way. Total Cinderella thing. I want to say they were ranked 9th after winning the cws! Corbin is an awesome coach. I never knew how much strategy went into coaching baseball until watching the cws. Vanderbilt just advanced to the championship game with an 11-3 win over the Aggies.OHVATN":20uoj54r said:

Vandy vs Florida for the SEC championship. Gators knocked off LSU 2-1. Unfortunately worked outside all day and didn't see either. Ought to be a good one tomorrow.

VAndy has been on fire offensively the last two games. Hopefully they can keep it up today and play their best ball late in the season like last year. I'm surprised at fla beating lsu yesterday but glad they did. Would rather play fla than lsu.

Vandy beat Indiana late last night in dramatic fashion to go to champ round in regionals. I don't know if any of you guys saw it, but Danby Swanson has to be in the top three of the best college baseball players. His 9th inning highlights are ridiculous!! Go DORES!
