Compact bone saw for deer

Nothing but a knife. I carefully cut around the hip bone and get to the socket, You can pretty much do it all with a knife, but I have some small Fiskars clippers to remove the lower legs, it's just faster.

This is me! I cut around hip sockets, and remove the hip joint whole. If Im butchering out at home I use my limb loppers to quickly nip lower legs. It's way faster and easier.

If Im in the woods doing a gutless method, I have a folding limb saw that will get used to remove lower legs.

No need for a saw on a deer. Just a 2.5in pocket knife blade is all you need.

Even the legs are a piece of cake to separate off with a pocket knife by just popping 4 tendons at each joint.

The ONLY thing I need a saw for is removing the skull cap in order to stay legal when hunting other states. For that, I use a battery powered sawzall.
