I walk out back every afternoon and fling a few arrows. My tower sits right under a couple of huge red oaks that are loaded with acorns every year. With no white oaks around the deer tear them up. My 2+ year old grandson goes with me to shoot. Since I told him the deer eat acorns he's taken a liking to them. I can't get him to eat half the food I love but he'll eat acorns like they're going out of style. Go figure....
 
well are you cooking for him,might be your cooking.LOL I try the acorns to see if they are bitter or not, but eating them would be tough.
 
I'm sure he is not eating them like potato chips, but if he is I would be very careful because the tannic acid contained in raw acorns can be potentially toxic�cooking them however removes the acid.
