Conditions at Leatherwood?

Does anyone know the water conditions at Leatherwood? I would like to make a trip up there on Wed, but have no way of knowing if it is worth the effort. I know that the water level is at the top of the operating zone, but is it stained, muddy, trashy? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I was about 5 miles south of Leatherwood on Sunday. Water was about a foot over summer pool and not really stained all that bad and there was no trash floating down the river. I'd go if I had the day off.

Thanks, Jim. I was planning to give it shot tomorrow (Wed) but something came up this afternoon that interferes. I'll go somewhere closer to home tomorrow and hit L'wood one day next week.
