congrats Kentucky

I didn't think KY could stop Iowa on their last two drives. A depleted defensive line and they spent a lot of time on the 110 degree field in the 2nd half.
 
Good game to watch no matter which side you like. I like the K QB, tough guy. Sure wish Iowa would've played the other QB? He can run and better passer, but what ifs. Still a good game to watch.
 
I was impressed with their game. Hadn't watched them play this year, but ya they looked good. Weather look doesn't good for you guys hope it misses you. Typical Iowa game but at least they did get into the end zone a couple times which they've struggled to do this year. I think the programs are similar, neither get the top recruits but make the best of what they get. I might watch them little more next year?

Ky looked good and they got a win. Buttt no one will remember that game next week! I know it excites the players and brings in a lot of $$$ for the schools and that's all that matters but at the end of the day it's just a participation 🏆

Maybe I'm just different but years ago when I was playing I was out to crush you no matter what. I played baseball and football through high school and then baseball in college and anytime I had a uniform on I wasn't out there to just have a good time. Anybody that says it doesn't mean anything is either 1) out of their mind, 2) never played sports, 3) played but sat the bench and just happy to be on the team. Just my $0.02.

Spot on!

I also loved playing against the big talkers. I let my play on the court do my talking.

After organized ball, I played pickup for several years. When putting the teams together, I tried to have it so that my team was weaker on paper. That drove me to play harder, and I felt more of an accomplishment if we did win.

But like you said, things are different with a lot of young people nowadays. The years of coddling, etc., have had an effect.
 
Great game!!! Both sides fought hard to the end with depleted rosters. Having said that, their replacements came in and performed admirably. There was no quit in either team. Hats off to Iowa for a great game from a true Blue Kentucky fan!
