How does cool weather effect the eggs of a turkeys nest when the temperature drops into the low 40s and high 30s? I know the ground temperature will have an impact on them in some way.

I don't know the exact biology but they are made to handle the swings in temps. A couple years ago when we had the very cold temps in April we still had a pretty normal hatch the best I remember.

The temps have really been low enough to have a major impact, if anything it can sometimes cause some hens to start sitting full time to ensure survival of the clutch. I wouldn't sweat this little cool down, it is normal to have a cool night or two on through may.
