To the announcement of Tua leaving or staying.... I find it comical that they are doing this, live press conference. :rotf:

He is a good player but there have been better before him and will be after him. Don't remember any that held a presser to announce it. But I am sure a few will disagree with me. JMO

Lets face it. ALABAMA has not had Many Stud of QB to go onto to the NFL and and let us fans focus on them since the 70's and 80's. Bart Starr, Joe Namath , Ken Stabler just to mention a few were all the best of the best ALABAMA had to produce so its been awhile to get to watch one do great things. I wish him well.

Saban kept TUA on ice till he needed him in favor of the steady hand of Hurts. And we all saw what Hurts can do. He was a stud.

Saban has a handle on QB it seems. He has potentially three of the best up and coming QB the SEC has to offer right under his belt. Glad to have this viewed as a "problem'. Not worried for a second.

Ask yourself... wouldn't you like for your team to have this "problem" ???

Bama was winning with Hurts and Saban saw he wasn't beating UGA with him. Tua and Mac wont play that role.
 
I think they have more trouble than quarterback, their defense, while highly talked about don't impress me when their playing fast moving passing offenses. Dont matter if you score every series if your opponent does also.

I'm hearing that Satan is after our defensive co. He was the one blasting Pruitt and smart a few weeks ago for poaching coaches.

Totally agree with this. Seems ALABAMA was right there all season long on the offense side of the ball.. You can't win ball games giving the other side the ball on 3rd down time and time again and handing them the ball 2 or three times a game. That might work on lower tier teams but not when you go up against top ranked teams.
 
Alabama has riches at the QB position. The 2019 Defense was very mediocre for Alabama standards, but still top 25 nationally, but they were young. What hurt them probably more than the defense over the year was their kicking game.

Pretty sure everyone outside of ALABAMA counted Jones out. Hopefully Bryce Young can fill his shoes. This years schedule required Jones to be suited up 4 full quarters unlike in 2019 when they could pull TUA out on the cupcake games. So Bryce did not get the playing time I would have liked to seen him get in preparation for the 2021 season. I am sure Saban will fix all of that and more with this outstanding young man.
