Ordered some new arrows yesterday and having my old ones re-fletched. Had some custom wraps made for all of them...can't wait to get them back. I also bought some tracers...
 
How many days do we have to bow hunt in TN before guns are allowed?

The time when bow hunters are the only ones in the woods is amazing. Opening week of bow season almost feels like I am hunting illegally.

Opening day of rifle changes everything.
It's like there are more guns in the woods than there are deer.
Only a bow hunter knows what this is like.
 
I ordered a string and cables for my Alley and also ordered a new dozen. I'm like Ricky I've been counting down for some time. But it's time to get in that frame of mind!!!!!!!Shoot,Shoot,Shoot, Scout, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot, hang stands, Sweat, ticks, shoot shoot shoot.

Yep it's time.

With all this talk about no early season for TN bow hunters this season, I was seriously afraid to look it up.

I see enough green before I see any yellow to make me happy.
Actually much more than happy!


I should have 4 does in the freezer before the 2nd week of October,and am always looking for that trophy buck.
 
I think one of our twra members posted that while you were on sabbatical LCU :-) We usually take a couple of does during archery too...usually, cut one up for our bow camp. I'm seriously thinking of buying a mz for that two week mz season..sold mine last year
 
I just sold my ML Coach.
By the time I have 3 does on the ground, I am satisfied enough,that I continue to bow hunt up until rifle opens.

I can't resist rifle hunting.
Although opening weekend can get a little nuts,and in many places, dangerous.
 
I'm a little disappointed in the shorter archery seasons . I might be hunting out of state this year anyway with a possible job transfer .

well daddy gave me his pse jet-flite, i just need to get me a whisker bisket for it, its gotta crappy rest, but got me a limbsaver and everything else, just need to shoot it lol
