1st is a P41 in the ever reliable Seahorse 120 case, 4 D cells for external power, pipe thru, Bigfoot trailmaster board. Kind of my versatile, do alot cam, I have several near duplicates of this now.

2nd is one that I had alot of fun building, because it took me alittle to figure things out. Its a Fuji J10 8.2 megapixel extending lens cam. I wanted a good cam that takes SD cards. I expected it to be slow and a weaker flash but its really suprised me. Not that slow and a dandy flash. Takes real nice pics too. 3 D cells for external power, could have went with alot more but wanted a nice clean build without alot of wires. You have to wire these to 4.5 volts instead of the 3 volts I was used to with the P series Sonys. The new SS2 control board(very small board with an expected 2 year battery life). Pipe thru as well.

how much do you charge for one of these camers?and are they easy to make as they look LOL.
I wouldnt say they are easy to build but its not something you cant figure out with alot of youtube watching lol Lot of tools to buy upfront so you would have to plan to build several to have any savings. I dont really build them to sell, even though I have done a few for friends and sold them, started building my own for my myself because of issues out of commercials and homebrews that others had built. Had alot of leak issues in the past, so build my own and no issues.

oh i c well i got a moultrie right now and it's doing pretty good on catching pictures and stuff.but everynow and then i get a few with nothing in them because of the wind is blowing LOL.but i'll see if i can figure out how to build one and see how it will come out.

When a homebrew goes bad ,well it will be fixed in a day, with a phone call

GOOD LUCK WitH yOur COMM CAMS.Do not sell homebrews do not plan on it,but why in the world would one buy a comm cam?
The pictures are not near as crisp ,they have the sensors where they are comparable to the comm cam trigger speeds.
You could fix the homebrew yourself, because you are working on a camera, not an IMAGER FROM CHINA.
By the way good job Steven looks like some of mine,P52"s
That case is dynamite proof.I got it from you and am glad I did.
I need to talk to you about that cam. The Fuji I have 2 L-11's in the line up.

That's looks great, I tried a homebrew model.

Having 3 'C' batteries, 2 'AA' batteries and 1 '9' volt battery was terribly inconvenient for me. Every time I got the chance to hit the woods and check on it I wouldn't have all 3 sizes available. (Kids have a way of making batteries disappear)

Carlos, you can set one up to take AA for the camera, AA for externals, and the 9V powering the board should last for many months!

I can certainly understand that. Thats why Im building all of mine with alot of D's. They pretty much all last long enough that I dont have to worry about it for 8 months anyway. And I hate having 9V. That last build(the Fuji) takes D's and then the 2 year 3.6V batts so you dont have to worry with for a long time. The P41 takes AAA's on the board and D's for external, you can add AA rechargeables to the cam but you dont have too. With that much external power you get alot of life without them. And I have several duplicates of that so I have everything mostly the same.
