I used to have a pond like that, till the neighbors started keeping EVERY fish they caught.

Yea, we mange it pretty well, keep a good forage base of bluegill, don't keep any of the bass past a certain size. Plus their has always been something about this pond, where when you get a hit, 95% of the time it's gonna be 3 pounds or more. Our biggest is 7 pounds but I've had at least 3 more I can think of that were no doubt bigger.
