I think one of 2 things happened with UT-A&M:
1. Jimbo owed CJP some money and CJP got em to give us a break. Take another bye week...lord knows we need it.
2. Jimbo figures if they wait until December JG will be out of concussion protocol and against all logic, probably be starting again. Better wait until then.

I don't understand the love affair at all with JG. He's been trash and will always be trash. Best thing in the hopper for the vols is Harrison Bailey. Although he threw the interception he looked pretty poised in the pocket and frankly was trying to make something happen in a desperate situation in the last game when they were down so bad. IMHO vols should just throw in the towel this season and start getting this young man some playing time and reps and start building towards the future with him. He has the potential to be a stud.

The coneheaded guy from alabubba is the only one with a love affair with JG so unless your speaking of the head coach, you have no clue what your talking about.

I agree. He (Bailey) has missed out on a lot of reps this year with Covid. The remainder of this season should be spent developing him, and some of the other young guys.
JG appears to be a nice kid, and has handled a lot of criticism (not unfair criticism mind you) but we don't owe him anything at this point. He has had more than enough chances. This year was pretty much a wash anyway with Covid, now with our lackluster performance I think you have to start seeing what you can get out of some of the kids that will be playing more in the future. Not saying sit all the veterans, but if they ain't producing, then get somebody else in to have a shot with live ammo.

This is just dumb. There has not been a single case of COVID-19 in the whole world that has been linked to playing sports. Not just in the US, the whole world!
There hasn't even been a single College or Pro athlete that contracted COVID that required hospitalization.

Agreed. Athletes at the HS, College and Pro levels are probably at a extremely high physical condition and if they catch Covid would bounce back from it very quickly with only mild symptoms in most cases. In only rare cases with underlying conditions would a athlete die from it.
The whole world seems to think if you catch covid you are going to die from it. Its just not the case.
