Coyote?

You all think this is just a mangey coyote or a chupacabra? It's crazy looking for sure and is definitely emaciated. The other pic is a black coyote in the same spot for comparison.

First one might be, second ones tail curls up. Coyotes tails are not supposed to have any curl, looks like a very sick dog.

That's what's throwing me off is the curly tail.

Hungry yote. Small chance it may be what is called a trisomy 21 chupacabra as well, either that or a trisomy 18 one. Genetic defects that often affect coyotes.
