Sort of crosses my mind that could actually be the same deer considering how big the body of 2022 deer is compared to the other - what a tank! What time of the year was the other picture taken?

I'd not be surprised if it's dame deer. That second pic is an old deer. Very well could be 3 and 6 or 4 and 7.

Same buck I would say. With some time he's really grown. Is he on private land. Or on public land. If public he's gotten very wise at this point.

I very well might be trying to see something that is not there but it sure looks like both those deer have the same facial markings. Look at the forehead contrast and what appears to be a overly white ear butt on his left side.
He is a tank, regardless!
