It looks like my bow season is gonna be very short if it happens at all. I still can't draw my bow!!! What a wuss I am!:cry:
I don't know what happened. My arm was only sore for a couple of days but when I put pressure it just quits. ARGH!
Ok. Done with my whiny moment. I will just have to use what would have been hunting time to do some stuff around the house. Ya'll need to each get one with your bows for me! :)

Hate to hear that Nancy! I hope you get healed up soon. You can always archery hunt later on in the season.

Thanks Clyde! I don't have a lot of patience when it comes to not being able to do what I want. This has definitely been a lesson in patience. :) I had an offer of a crossbow but I want my first bow kill to be with my bow.

I understand about wanting to hunt with your bow, but a crossbow would be better than not getting to go. Hope your arm gets better fast where you can pull your bow again.

Thanks guys. I will get one when it is my time. I have waited this long, I can wait a bit longer. I took the bow to John to check it and the bow has issues. It will be ready tomorrow. We dropped it to 53 lbs (from 56). It took a little strain but I can pull it back. I will work with it this week and hopefully be ready by next weekend. If not, I will go get some trophies with my camera. :)

I agree and you know how much I love crossbows

You and stik are welcome anytime at my cabin and I can get you at 10-15 yards if the deer stay on pattern. I'll even cook you a steak, clean your deer and tell stik to be a gentleman. ;)

That is so very sweet of you. I may have to take you up on that offer. If for no other reason but the last item on the list. :)
