Hey you crappie guys are you mainly trolling? If so are you pulling boards or just using flies or flies and minnows?

If you aren't trolling you fishing flies in cast and retrieve or what?

Spider rigging using minnows and or jigs but really wanting to try the boards this year.

However some of our crappie are already in shallow spawning water... 6 feet or less. That water is hard to longline... works best if you use planer boards, or cast jigs under floats.

Thank you very much for the videos. Years ago I did mostly trolling on douglas for crappie, always a "doll fly" tipped with a minnow. Not a bunch of times though, so my crappie fishing ability is not the greatest. But they is some of the tasteyest fish in the water.
