I traded for a Barnett wildcat c-5 crossbow and I ran out of vertical adjustment on scope . It has five crosshair lines. At 10 yds. im on my bottom line. Any suggestions? it already has a high mount. Shims?

you could buy another scope. I love my Niknm crossbow scope. I found some 5 1000 thick brass sheeting at a hobby store and have cut small pieces to tighten some scope mounts. Putting a small piece on the bottom of your rear mount should do it. Mylar works well too...

finally got third scope sighted in. second was a red dot. it would work but ran out of adjustment on it too. changed to lower rings. I was about to give up on this one.

GO to the GTA air gun forum and look at their article on "shimming" scopes. It will work the same for your crossbow scope.

I use either a thin piece of plastic or sometimes old camera negatives to shim my scopes.

I bought a parker red hot scope from gander for my wildcat c5, best thing i did. Plus parker has a ballistic program too. Also i have the barnett scope on my ghost 400 and its night and day clarity difference, the parker is much more crisp
