Crystal Mistress ??

I bought a crystal Mistress last season during turkey season. I didn't get it until after season, so I have never used it in the woods.

I have practiced on it a few times and like it, but yesterday I looked at it and there is a crack in the surface. I have no idea how it happened. It has been sitting on a shelf in a bag in a closet and the only person that has access to the closet is me and the only person that touched it is me.

the call still sounds good to me, but i am afraid it will mess the sound up.

Has anyone ever had this happen? Will it make the call malfunction and sound bad? Most importantly, will I need to buy a new call?

I hate this happened, because I was looking forward to using it this season, and don't know if I have the money to buy a new one and don't know if it would get here in time anyway.

I ordered mine on the 2nd and it just came today and I'm sure he's getting more and more busy closer to season it gets so it could be cutting it close to get it by April

I e-mailed him and called him today and left a voice message. Hopefully he calls back soon.

Like I said, it still sounds good. Of course there is no way to tell how long that will last......
