And the sling on her shoulder looks like it has red lettering. Looks like it says Ruger

It is almost for sure a 10/22, note the sling has no spread in the area where it goes over your shoulder, that and the red lettering tends to make it look Ruger-ish.

What they are doing, I do not know, but I would wager the two fellows have criminal histories because they are making the non-criminal female carry a weapon.

Turn them in. I would want to check that acreage very carefully.

My friend had some land in Rutherford County -last year he went in August to check on it, and there were 5 illegals deer hunting with rifles! It is a federal felony to possess a gun as an alien. Worth a shot turning them in

I'd keep an eye on things are there houses visible from there? I new a guy that just so happen to come home from work early about a year ago to find some younger folks fleeing his yard! About two days after that he found a backpack with beany weinies and crackers and binos along with other things in a wooded area behind his house, they were watching his and his wife's work pattern I suppose , these folks got caught due to neighbors on next road spotting a suspicious car.
