Put out a new camera and this guy found it within a few days and had to come over to check it out. Never fails to amaze me how animals can pick out the smallest elements of change in their environments.

Every time I move a camera to a new location, the first deer to come by see it no matter how I positioned it. However, after that first encounter, and it does them no harm, they completely ignore it.

One chewed on my camera,he is lucky if it didnt harm the camera!

I have to hang all mine 10 ft or so high anymore and they still destroy some occasionally.
