Dad got his second bird Saturday. Perfect setup spot netted this bird.
21.5 lbs 10" beard 1 3/16" spurs!
The older gentleman and I were in the game on three other setups but couldn't close the deal. I tried to persuade him to stay at our initial setup but boredom and cramped legs got the best of him so we moved to another farm. Drove back by an hour and half later and there was a gobbler standing not 30 yds from where we had been sitting. Oh well I will probably have 3-4 more chances with him.
