This is the first bird he has killed in several years and he was pleased to say the least. Pretty good bird at 20 lbs and 9.5 inch beard with 1 inch spurs! He flopped all in a creek after the shot and looks pretty ruff, but he will still eat good! lol

Thanks guys! Now If I can just get my 8 yr old his first bird, the season would be a 100% success, as everybody else in our entire group has now killed birds this year. His older brother has killed 2 this year and the competition is fierce! lol I have had birds I've called in for him inside of 50 yards twice now, but he's shooting a 3 inch 20 ga and i wont let him shoot past his effective range, but we still have plenty of time left!!
