Went to my local pond yesterday for about 30 minutes to see what the bream were doing.
Caught one on almost literally every cast.
All were between 9 & 9 3/4" long.
Lost count at 15 and threw them all back.

Came to work this morning and it was raining so hard I literally couldn't see to back my truck into the parking spot due to the back window being tinted. (My dad had it tinted so you couldn't see through it into the camper he had on the back)
Anyway, I slid the back window open just enough to see and there it was.
My bream tackle box and rod & reel still laying in the back end of the truck. :(

I HATE it when I do that. :bash:

Hopefully since they are in boxes in the bag my hooks and stuff didn't get wet.
Oh well, stupid is as stupid does.

I try to take care of my tackle but I believe I would have been more concerned with throwing 15 nine inch blue gills back.[emoji12]

Trust me, that is one of the reason's I quit. :D

I have a self-imposed rule on this pond to keep no more than 50-60 bream out of it per year.
I highly doubt I could fish it out but coupled with the neighbors and all their friends and their 5 gallon buckets I don't want to chance it.

Also helps that in the past couple of weeks I have put about 300 bream in the freezer. :D
