Decided to add this to our "small seed" mixture this year. Have never tried it before but like what I have read about it. We have some new log loading sites that have been cleared & prepped this year. Look forward to see if the giant radish's will really help to loosen up compacted soil.

Big swing in prices online for them. Prices I found ranged from $250 for 50 lbs on E-bay, to $150 at Hancock seed. I ordered from Hancock & shipping was another $30.00. Hancock also had 1# & 5# quantities available.

Just another FPF experiment...

We tried some radish last year and the deer really liked them. we doing some more this year.

Didn't you also try sugar beets last year, how did that work out?

Sugar beets not so good. Trying a different kind this year. Planted Biologic sugar beets and winter bulbs twice last year and neither time anything came up. Bought some at the nwtf show this year to try.
