Dang birds a ticking me off.

Hen flys down in front of me. Another hen comes up from behind 10 yards. Another hen to my left. Putting purring. Small yelps.
I can not do better than live bait!!! Where are my dang gobblers!!!!!!!!!
I am sick of it.

Depends what part of the state your in. In my area the gobblers and hens are not together anymore. They are out of the breeding phase here.

Still with hens here, saw a group of 10 hens with one strutter today. I did call in 3 different birds this morning for a buddy, and he couldn't get a shot at any of them. Talk about frustrating. They all had hens, but still came to a call, hens and all.
