Walking in the dark this morning across a field. Knew I had to walk around the graveyard, so not thrilled about that. Then I smelled a skunk, very close.
Tried to use my light as little as possible in hopes of seeing his eyes. (Had a dog sprayed last year.)
After I passed the skunk smell, I unexpectantly walked up on a deer. HUGE snort at 10 yards in the dark!
Took a while to calm down. Deer were around all day, coming and going to my sites.
