Walked out in the yard tonight to sling a few arrows. It didn't take maybe 10 shots before my string broke and popped me in the kisser!

I didn't find any burs on the cams, so I'm not sure why it happened. String looked to be in good shape and only had a few hundred shots... It broke under the serving.

ive shot bucknasty for a while without a hitch but the last two ive ordered have been less than stellar, something has definately changed with those strings in the last couple years, glad your ok and hope it didnt hurt your bow

I've had good luck with mine too. I do think something is up though. There doesn't seem to be much traffic on his archery talk thread anymore. I also read on there about some having trouble getting a hold of him.

One more reason not to get caught up in brand names. The buck nasty thing started on AT then caught on like wild fire. This makes about a handful of horror stories I've heard about them. Ppl started buying them up before they could prove the test of time. I always buy factory strings.

Good luck to you. Glad you didn't get hurt.

Dont feel bad I had one brake on my brand new 3 day old Bowtech Invasion. Broke right where the peep was tied in. Still not sure what caused it. Dealer didnt cover it under warranty either. Even though it was only 3 days old.

I will buy another Bucknasty string. I had some work done on the bow before Christmas. I'm willing to bet he bumped it against something.
